We women will always try to make our homes a home for our family and ourselves. We will do almost anything that we can think of to change one little thing that maybe doesn’t cost our husbands a lot of money because they really don’t care as long as the house is kept clean and the food is cooked the way they might like it.

We might change the sheets and bed spreads that we put on our beds to go with the seasons, or we might buy some paint to change the color of the walls to match this room decor. All women would like to be able to change the decor of their homes as often as some change their shoes.

They tell us that home is where the heart is. Well, sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong. Home is where you make it, and it can be in a motor home, house, apartment, or in some cases a tent. With the situation that this country is in because of so many people losing their homes, you might not be surprised to see a lot more tents being put in campsites or more motor homes being used as a living space. This will still be their home, and they will do whatever they can to make this place that they call home to be as comfortable as possible.

You can buy rugs to put on the outside of our doors to let people know that this is your home and that you live in it. You might put lights on it that you will light up at Halloween or even at Christmas time. You will buy things to put in your yards for people to see at these holidays. You might even do different things to your mailboxes so the mailman won’t forget your house number.

You might even hire someone to come in and plant some flowers or put up hedges and have them do different designs in them. Some people will do a lot of strange things to their homes to make them different from their neighbors, but they all do this to make their homes feel like their home.
