 The myth that online flower delivery services that are gaining more popularity than the local flower delivery services is not actually true. I have several issues to discuss after which this myth may not turn into a fact.

There are largely two types of flower delivery services available in the world, which are from a local florist or by ordering online. I prefer local florists for several reasons.

The first reason for which I have always supported a local flower delivery is the local florists are comparatively less costly than online florists. Generally local florists make their delivery by purchasing flowers from two sources. Either they can purchase from a whole sale dealer of fresh flowers or he may purchase them directly from the flower growers.

Hence there is no involvement of any middle man in between this transaction and the prices are kept low for this reason. But in this context, the online flower delivery services are much more costly than the local florists. These online florists are not actually the retailer of flowers as they claim themselves to be. They are nothing but a middle man between a local florist and the person who wants to place the order. These online flower shops generally purchases the flowers either from the local florists or by shipping the flowers from the flower growers. Hence these companies add their profit amount along with the rate at which they have purchased the flowers originally from the local flower delivery agents and also add the processing fees, shipping and handling charges and several other meaning less charges thus lifting the price at a high level. A person has to pay much less if he purchases the flowers from the local florists as in comparison to online purchase.

Secondly, the local flower delivery agents and the florists are very knowledgeable and have immense experience in the field of flowers and can give you necessary information about which flower to purchase and what flower would be suitable for a particular occasion. These florists can also help you out if you are facing any problem regarding the delivery. Local florists usually make their delivery within a radius of 5 miles from there location of business. The online florists in this context may misguide you in order to make their profit and it seems that they forget6 to keep the customers best interest in their mind. Also since these companies acts thus as a delivery agent making purchases from the local florists and delivering them to the customer thus acting as a middle man, hence they do not have the perfect knowledge about the inventory.

The biggest problem about the online flower agents are that unlike the local flower delivery agents they do not make timely delivery of the flowers ordered. These problems and discrepancy on their sides have often caused dissatisfaction among customers who have immediately shifted to their local flower agents.

Hence I would obviously vote for the local florists. Know its totally up to you to choose what source of flower delivery would be best for you.
